THE latest statistics received by Newsquest (NE) Ltd, the official media sponsor and designer of the Interprise 2001 web site, show that the site is proving to be an extremely valuable tool in the promotion of the event, and is helping it to reach a world-wide audience.
More than 7,500 page impressions were recorded in November alone, with the 'Participants' page proving most popular as visitors continue to check out details of other delegates entered on the web.
Interprise 2001 is a major business partnering event organised by the County Durham Development Company (CDDC) and it is about to enter another promotional phase. CDDC is currently producing an interim catalogue listing all companies taking part in this major event.
Although Interprise takes place next March, the catalogue marks an important stage in the arrangements. It will be circulated to all of CDDC's partners in the region, Europe, North America and the People's Republic of China, and will play a vital role in supporting their promotional and recruitment activities.
Phil Eadon, CDDC's director of marketing, said: "Our international partners will use the catalogue to show potential delegates in their own areas a complete list of who will be attending Interprise 2001. They can then select which of these companies they wish to meet.
"Our message would be to sign up for the event without delay and it couldn't be simpler. Just visit the event web-site at www.Interprise2001.com, and you can register on-line."
