A FARMERS' market is promising a host of Christmas treats for shoppers this weekend.
Stall holders will be dressing up in festive garb and a charity raffle is also planned for Sunday's event at Sam Turners, Northallerton.
Chairman of the Cledale Farmers' Market, Stephen Knox, said: "We are hoping to create a carnival atmosphere, something special for the people of Northallerton, while raising much-needed funds for the new children's ward at the Friarage Hospital."
Stall holders have donated produce to be raffled and town Mayor Jack Dobson will make the draw.
Among the produce on sale will be British meats, home-made cakes and soap. The market starts at 10am
