MATURE drivers are being offered a refresher course on recent innovations and regulations.
Durham Police are backing the event, arranged by Age Concern, which is open to all motorists aged 50 or over, living in the county.
It aims to make people more safety conscious, and more capable in case of an accident, breakdown or mishap. There will be a presentation on safe driving, with workshops by paramedics on what to do at the scene of an accident.
Pre-booking is essential for the event, at Meadowfield Sports Centre, Durham, on Monday, January 15. For information call Veronica Lewis, at Age Concern on 0191-386 3856.
