Darlington Lions Club has arranged for food parcels to be sent to needy people in the town.
The public donated food and money, while the club approached Morrison's and Safeway supermarkets to ask if they would add items to supplement those already given. The stores agreed, and the food parcels have been collected by Darlington Lions Club members for distribution to needy people.
