TWO girls in the same form at a North-East school have won selection to a national fencing team.
The pupils from Teesside High School have won selection to the Under-16 National Youth Championships for Girls' Foil Fencing, to be held in February.
Jennifer Clark, 14, from Middleton St George, near Darlington, and Lucy Trinder, also 14, from Stockton, triumphed in the regional final in Durham, with Lucy winning, and Jennifer coming second.
The two girls are in the same class at the girls' school in Eaglescliffe, and train together
