A CLAMPDOWN on vandals and young troublemakers in Richmond has had an impact on the streets.
One teenage girls and three boys have been dealt with by police for offences including harassment and anti-social behaviour, linked to incidents around Bank Yard.
Another three teenage girls have been dealt with for criminal damage after graffiti was sprayed on walls near Stablers newsagents on the Market Place.
Sergeant Mick Griffiths said: "The number of reported incidents of nuisance and damage in Richmond is on the decline.
"However, we will not become complacent and will take positive action whenever these offences come to light.
"High visibility foot patrols will continue to take place in an attempt to deter further offences."
