THE jury in the case of a man accused of the shotgun murder of a 26-year-old man was sent home last night for the second time after failing to reach a verdict.
The jury at Teesside Crown Court had convicted Anthony Bottrill, 41, of High Street West, Redcar, of making a threat to kill. They are expected to return today to deliberate further on the charge of murder which Bottrill also denied.
He is alleged to have murdered Bryan Scott in March at the Kirkleatham Showground, Redcar.
