Crook League
Crook Golden Fleece made a bid to get away from a re-election spot in the Second Division with an odd point win at Crook White Swan but their effort was foiled when Crook Coach and Horses B won by three points at Crook Crown.
The White Swan had singles wins from John Varley, Trevor Hudspeth and Stephen Murphy with the Fleece pulling level with wins from Richard Hall, Martin Mann and Tony Heslop. In the deciding doubles, Richard Hall and Martin Mann took the Fleece to victory by beating Stephen Murphy and John Varley.
Crook Queen's Head A made a massive jump up the table with their 6-1 win over the visiting Spitfire Club and now share top place with the Olde Horse Shoe A. The Travellers Rest A are just three points behind with the Royal Sun a further point adrift. Crook Mill House lead the Second Division with a two points advantage over the Olde Horse Shoe B, while the Queen's Head B are in third place, nine points adrift.

Tow Law Area League
Tow Law Station took advantage of the fact that former leaders, Sunniside Moss Inn were without a match to take over the top spot after beating the visiting Tow Law North Point by three points. The Station had singles wins from Tom Hauxwell, Eddie Smith, Michael Bell, Ron Kitching and George Hope with Tanya McFadden making the only reply. The visitors did manage to take two of the three doubles points.
Esh Stag's Head dropped four points behind the Station to share second place with the Moss Inn after they only took three home points out of the Tow Law Rose and Crown. The Stag's only two singles points came from Mattie Walker and Tom March, while the visitors had wins from Sue Snowdon, Colin Hammond, Tony English and Frank Box as well as taking two of the doubles points.
