Spennymoor are hoping their fortunes will change in their important game at Leek Town this afternoon.
Leek are just one place above the relegation zone and a Moors victory will mean they will be just two points behind.
Manager Peter Mulcaster, who includes new striker Micky Ward from Guisborough in his squad, said: "We need to turn our possession into goals.
"We have seen a lot of the ball in our last two or three league games but we haven't done much with it in the opposing penalty area.
"If we can score a couple of goals, then that will give us a great boost."
Bishop Auckland are hoping to bounce back after their midweek defeat at Gateshead when they tackle Bamber Bridge at Kingsway.
Bishops were without defender Mark Salmon and striker Danny Mellanby when their 13-game unbeaten run ended in midweek, but they both return, while midfielders Danny Brunskill and Jeff Smith should both have recovered from flu.
Bishops manager Tony Lee said: "I wasn't too happy with our performance in midweek, but I'm not going to worry too much about it."
Whitby Town, who are at Altrincham, could include a new signing, but they still have a couple of injury worries.
