COLLEGE art and design students are staging an exhibition on the theme of archaeology.
The students, from New College Durham, have produced two and three-dimensional exhibits after carrying out extensive research.
This included visiting archaeological sites, and producing detailed sketch books.
The fruits of their labour have gone on display at the Fulling Mill Museum of Archaeology, on the banks of the River Wear, in Durham.
Museum curator Lindy Brewster said: "It is pleasing to see the museum being used by the college to stage such an exhibition, as this helps us to strengthen our links with the community here in Durham.
"The students have produced some exceptional work and I am delighted with the results, which are well worth seeing.''
The exhibition runs until Easter. For details and opening times call the museum on 0191-374 7911.
