THE two people killed in a head on crash, near Whitby on Wednesday night, have been identified.
Marion Finula Little, 52, of Birch Grove, Sleights, and her six-year-old grandaughter, Hannah Natalie Buck, of White Leys Road, Whitby, died when the Micra that Mrs Little was driving collided head-on with a red Vauxhall Corsa.
Two-year-old Harry Buck and one-year-old Emma-Leigh Buck were thrown clear of the car and were taken to Scarborough General Hospital. Last night their condition was described as "comfortable."
Relatives issued a statement which said: "The family of Marion Little and Hannah Buck would like to thank everybody for their thoughts, but ask that we be left alone with our family to grieve."
The funeral services are due to take place at 10.30am next Friday, at St Hilda's RC Church, Brunswick Street, Whitby.
They will be followed by a private burial.
