Pop queen Madonna had the world guessing about her marriage to movie director Guy Ritchie last night.
Hundreds of journalists from all over the globe have been camped outside the gates of the exclusive Skibo Castle in the secluded Scottish highlands since early morning, hoping to hear the official announcement that the couple had tied the knot.
But as night fell no word from the castle was forthcoming and reporters and fans were kept waiting.
Guests had been arriving at the Sutherland Estate all day for last night's traditional Scottish bash.
Singer Sting arrived wearing a kilt and his wife Trudie Styler turned up in another car with three of the couple's children.
After the exchange of vows, guests sat down to a traditional Scottish dinner, which included Haggis and the finest Aberdeen Angus steaks
