BUDDING DJs in east Cleveland are to be given the chance to develop their mixing skills on a new course.
The 22-week course, starting next month, is one of a series of ideas from Skelton Youth Empowerment.
The project is managed by the Workers Educational Association, in partnership with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and Northern Arts.
Paula Frodsham, with part-time help from arts worker Jane Cuthbert and music worker Tina Mortimer, is based in Skelton High Street. The project encourages 17 to 25-year-olds to set their own agenda.
Other projects include pampering sessions for young parents and arts opportunities.
