A PRIMARY school is appealing for former pupils to become role models for today's children.
Having already held a display of photographs highlighting the achievements of one former pupil, Firth Moor Primary School, in Darlington, is looking for more success stories to demonstrate to youngsters what can be done.
Headteacher Andrena Cabourn is hoping to inspire children to push for their own success in school and their future lives.
She said: "We would love to hear from ex-pupils of the school, who have gone on and made a success of their life and careers, who we could use as role models for the children. We've already done it once with one girl who became a botanist."
She said: "We want to show children here and everyone else just how successful some of our pupils can be."
Any ex-pupils who would like to respond to the appeal is asked to contact Mrs Cabourn at the school, in Highmoor Road, Darlington, or telephone (01325) 244001
