An air cadet squadron is calling on past members to join in its birthday celebrations.
The Chester-le-Street squadron will be 60 in March and it plans to mark the occasion with a presentation night at its headquarters behind the Territorial Army drill hall.
Civilian instructor Graham Blackie said: "It will be an evening on the history of the cadets and there will be different presentations. We are trying to contact former members who would like to come along. Anyone interested in joining the cadets would also be welcome."
The squadron has around 50 members aged 13 to 22. Anyone wanting more information about the presentation can call at the squadron on Wednesdays and Fridays between 7pm and 9pm.
