A FAMILY are mourning the death of a 13-year-old boy who was born with a weak heart muscle.
Nathan Painter, of Fernwood Avenue, Hartlepool, died on Boxing Day after being released from hospital to enjoy Christmas at home.
Nathan was born with a weak heart muscle, and his parents, John and Deborah Painter, were told he might not survive.
But the youngster fought to live a normal life and had dreams of becoming an entertainer.
Nathan, who attended Brierton School, was taken into hospital last week with heart problems, but was allowed home on Christmas Day.
Nathan leaves three brothers, Gavin, 11, Ryan, eight, and two-year-old Jordan.
