POLICE arrested a man suspected of drink-driving after a four-vehicle crash early yesterday.
A police spokesman said that four people were injured in the accident, beside the Asda roundabout in Stanley, County Durham, at 2am.
The accident blocked the A693 Chester-le-Street to Consett Road.
Firefighters from Consett and High Handenhold had to cut free an injured man.
The injured were taken to Dryburn Hospital, in Durham. None were believed to be seriously injured.
