IT has been a rather quiet week for the Jesters.
We played only one game, against the Fife Flyers from the BNL and we beat them 8-1.
I was surprised by the difference in the level between the two leagues. I thought they would prove better opposition.
After that game, we had three days off, which gave me the chance to visit York, which is a lovely city.
This weekend we are playing the Ayr Scottish Eagles on Saturday in the quarter-final of the B & H cup.
They will be going all-out to avenge the defeat they suffered in our Superleague first contest.
I'm expecting a battle with these guys and I'm sure nothing will come easy for us in that game.
But I'm really confident we will be ready to go when the bell rings.
