SUCH has been the success of a Christmas production in North-West Durham that a theatre group has pencilled in extra shows.
The Special Needs Unity Group (Snug), from Annfield Plain, has sold out all six planned performances of its show Christmas Treat.
A new date has been added on January 13, but has already been sold out. Organisers are now considering putting on yet another show.
"We've had an excellent response so far," said Snug member Adam Chetter.
"It's a good fun show and has gone down a storm."
Snug has members who are both disabled and able-bodied.
The group's latest show features a number of rousing song renditions in the first half, and pantomime-style performances in the second.
It is Snug's first performance at its new venue which was converted from a former sports pavilion.
It staged three performances before Christmas and had originally only planned for three in the new year. For details about the show, call (01207) 299040.
