SCHOOLGIRL Hannah Cliff's commitment to her lessons won her a mountain bike and a chance to meet her favourite radio presenter.
The ten-year-old, from Benton, Newcastle, received the prize from Newcastle City Council for her 100 per cent school attendance record.
More than 1,800 youngsters in the city were rewarded with prizes, and an entertainment spectacular was laid on for them at the Telewest Arena.
Hannah received her bike, supplied by Cycleforce, from Galaxy 105-106 DJ Nick Jordan.
City council education welfare officer Keith Brown said: "We would like to congratulate Hannah on her excellent school attendance record last year and also send out congratulations to the other 1,827 children who achieved this milestone.''
Galaxy marketing manager Jo Williams said: "We realise that it is a way to encourage children in their learning and reward them for their commitment at the end of term.''
