The second edition of Tyke Travels is yet another thoroughly professional work from Steve Penny, covering all aspects of non-League football in Yorkshire - just as the title suggests.
And now the author is, in his own words, 'planning to spread his wings' and next season may produce a similar work covering football in Norfolk, Lincolnshire or Durham.
His Tyke Travels includes club by club full details and statistics along with a plan of the ground, including Nationwide Conference clubs Scarborough and Doncaster, UniBond League and the Northern Counties East.
There are also action photographs, details of county cup winners along with local leagues.
Tyke Travels can be obtained from the author Steve Penny at 60 Hillcrest Drive, Molescroft, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 7JL, priced £7.71p, including postage.
Some non-League club shops in north Yorkshire also stock the well-produced publication.
l Burniston Football Club was formed at the start of last season, joining the Evening News Scarborough and District Saturday League, Division Three. Club secretary Steve Adamson, has written a booklet to mark the club's first season and a few are available priced 50p plus an sae, A5 size, from S Adamson, 30 Ashville Avenue, Scarborough, YO12, 7NF.
