Durham League
After suffering relegation from the first division last year Hartlepool Hornets A could jump straight back up as they are setting the pace at the top of division two.
The team who might stop them won promotion from the third division last year. Consett Steelers have yet to lose a second division game.
The race for the third division trophy is a three-way fight between Trimdon CCA, Teesside Huskies B and Young Houghtonians. Trimdon have lost only once in league and cup fixtures and they seem to have the strength in depth to win the league. Durham Saints look to have saved their best form for the cup competition as they lead that table.
