THE artistic visions of County Durham youngsters has gone on display at a leading museum.
The DLI Museum and Durham Art Gallery, at Aykley Heads, Durham, is hosting Durham Schools Art, which features the work of pupils at primary, secondary and special schools.
The pupils were asked to depict their views of what the future in County Durham will look like using a wide range of artistic materials.
A museum spokesman said: "Younger artists from schools in the county have created work on themes of identity and looking forward. The Durham Schools Art exhibition aims to celebrate life in the county both now and in the future as seen through the eyes of children and young people.
"They have created drawings, paintings, prints and sculptures in a rich variety of materials."
The exhibition runs until Sunday, February 4 and open daily from 10am-4pm. Tickets are £2.50 for adults, concessions £1.25. For details call (0191) 3842214
