THE New Year celebrations may be over for most - but not for the staff at the library in Thirsk.
They are gearing up for some Oriental fun - to mark the beginning of the Chinese Year of the Snake.
The library is holding a family drop-in morning on Saturday, January 20, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Visitors will be able to help decorate the library, make a snake to take home with them and have their Chinese horoscope read for them
