PROSPECTIVE carers are invited to two events to find out more about adoption and fostering.
Next Monday, Stockton Borough Council's child placement team is holding an information evening for anyone who has thought about adopting a child.
The meeting will take place at Springs Health Club, Teesside Park, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
On Wednesday, January 17, from 12.30pm until 2.30pm, the child placement team will be at Stockton Town Hall to speak to prospective fosters.
Foster carers and social workers will be on hand to answer questions.
Jackie Ward, from the child placement team, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who has ever considered fostering.
"We are also keen to speak to people who are thinking about adoption.
"We would urge anyone who is interested to come along to find out more."
