PROSPECTIVE students can experience a taste of short courses available at Sunderland University, at an open day tomorrow.
They can sample a range of subjects and crafts, see practical demonstrations, receive information on courses and enrol, at the event in the Priestman Building, Green Terrace, Sunderland, from 3pm to 7pm.
Courses include the Internet, counselling skills, digital photography, calligraphy, tai chi, building web pages and hot blown glass.
Students who have already tried a short course can register for stand-alone degree modules in a wide range of subjects including religious studies, history, philosophy and politics.
