MEAN thieves have stolen a baby's christening gifts from the back of a car, parked at a pub where the family were celebrating.
The incident happened at The Pied Piper, in Orchard Way, Ormesby, on Sunday afternoon.
Family and friends had gathered at the pub to celebrate the baby's christening.
The thieves smashed the rear window and took gifts including a christening gown.
The family, from Thornaby, are still too upset over the incident to give the police a complete list of what was stolen, but anyone with any information is asked to contact (01642) 302733.
