A NORTH-EAST theatre has disproved the saying that you should never work with children and animals.
This year's Cinderella pantomime has under two weeks left out of its seven week run at Darlington Civic Theatre.
Despite containing both animals and children it has no mishaps to report so far.
The show contains two ponies, Lucky and Lucy, who have both been stabled at Hurworth during the course of the run.
Much praise is also due to Colin Saint for looking after the two ponies,
Cinderella stars Ray Meagher and Stu Francis, and dancers from Joanne Banks Dancers from Spennymoor, and the Tiffany School of Dance from Darlington.
The show finishes on Sunday, January 21 but tickets are still available.
