ONE of blues' hottest young properties is cutting the final few tracks on his debut album.
Pete Shoulder, 17, of Chester-le-Street, has already opened for the former Rolling Stones guitarist, Mick Taylor, at the annual Stanley Blues Festival, but is expected to scale even greater heights with his first CD.
The talent of the teenager has John Kearney, owner of Consett's Making Music Work cooperative where Pete is now half way through his album, expecting great things.
He said: "He is an amazing talent as a guitar player, writer, singer and multi-instrumentalist.
"He is very young, which is a massive boon in this sort of industry.
"He has clearly got the talent to go as far as he wants."
Word of Pete's talent has already reached Lonesome Roads Records, a roots and blues record label, which is considering signing him
