The Under-10 A team played First Division side Fishburn Boys in the Teesside Junior Alliance Alternative Cup going down 3-2.
Aycliffe's scorers were Matthew Florey and Sean Lowe with Matthew Flory gaining the man of the match award.
Newton Aycliffe Under-15s reversed their fixture because of pitch conditions and ran out 11-1 winners over Hartburn.
Aycliffe's scorers were Danny Wales (3), Chris Mason (3), Richard Dimambro-Walters, Adrian Clark, Gareth Hamblin, Mark Ross and Ryan Stonehouse. Man of the match was Sean Donnelly.
In the League Cup, Quarter-final, Newton Aycliffe YCFC defeated Darlington Spraire Lads 1-0. This was a tough game against fellow First Division opposition. The first-half ended goalies with each side having a couple of half chances but both goalkeepers showed safe handling.
Midway through the second-half, from a tremendous flowing move started on the edge of the Aycliffe box which progressed up the left hand side, Adam Thompson surged past the full-back and struck a hard low cross box which eluded everyone except Ally Agnew, at the back post, who steered the ball over the line for a match winner.
A hard-working, gutsy midfield performance, in the heavy conditions by Ben Poskett earned him the the man of the match award
