A DAZZLING garden which attracted visitors from all over County Durham has raised £340 for Children in Need.
Ray Lauder, from the Hall Lane Estate, Willington began putting up 2,000 Christmas lights around his garden in November.
He also converted his garden shed into a magical grotto and every night dressed up as Santa for visiting children.
Unfortunately the light show came to an end on Christmas Eve when the display was vandalised but it hasn't put Ray off from planning a similar show next year.
Ray, 47, said: "I just want to thank everyone who donated money. It was more than we hoped for. They came from Newton Aycliffe, Shildon, Durham, Tow Law and Wolsingham. We even had some people from Turkey taking photos who had been visiting their family here."
