TWO Cleveland sisters competed against each other for the supreme championship at the North Eastern Counties Welsh Pony and Cob Association winter show at Seagold Centurion Equestrian Centre, Hunwick, on Sunday.
Rose Frank, of Ingleby Barwick, who celebrated her 13th birthday just two days before, was partnered by her pony Woodview Aloysius.
They won the Welsh Section B award, took first in the section A and B open ridden class and went on to win the champion Welsh ridden and the supreme ridden championship.
Her sister Harriet, aged eight, on her five-year-old pony Friars Santa, were on their first outing together. They were first in the lead rein class and Harriet also became the champion young rider.
Both girls and their elder sister, Emily, have been riding and showing ponies for a number of years.
They all attend Teesside High School, which is directly across the River Tees from their home at Barwick Farm
