A SHELTERED housing complex is offering older people the chance to try a range of courses.
Albany House in Southwick, Sunderland, is running courses in subjects such as tai chi, aromatherapy, gentle yoga and crafts.
The complex, which is run by Sunderland Social Services, has also teamed up with the City of Sunderland College to run a free computer course for beginners.
The course, which starts next Monday, is open to residents and people in the local area.
Vivienne Gardner, manager of Albany House, said: "It is just one of the many courses we offer in Albany House, to our residents and the local community."
