A MARKET town pub is the toast of real ale drinkers for the second time in three years.
The Spread Eagle, in Stokesley High Street, has been voted pub of the season by the Cleveland branch of the Campaign for Real Ale.
Licensee Jean Adlington's pub has previously won the title, Camra pub of the year.
She said: "We have three good stand hand pull beers ranging from mild to middle to strong, and I would not dare drop them because they are very popular.
"But there is always a lovely atmosphere in this pub. Locals and strangers alike are all part of the crack. No one is excluded as long they behave themselves.
"I think if you drink in a nice, warm and friendly atmosphere you are going to be predisposed to the beer. It's a lovely start to the New Year."
Judges will decide on the pub of the year in March.
