A SCHOOLBOY'S detailed description of a man with a red face netted a sex pest, a court heard.
The 15-year-old spotted him in a Transit van parked at Redcar.
The young cyclist phoned police saying the man was indecently exposing himself behind the wheel, said prosecutor Chris Baker.
Judge Tony Briggs told Teesside Crown Court that odd features emerged when Derek Neasham, 53, was arrested.
He was wearing nothing under a boiler suit after having changed out of his normal clothes.
Neasham was appealing against conviction at Teesside Magistrates' Court for indecent exposure. He was sentenced to 12 months probation, 100 hours community service and £100 compensation to the boy with £75 costs.
The appeal failed, but the sentence was reduced by withdrawing community service.
Neasham, of West Road, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, was also ordered to pay £200 Crown Court costs. He said he had already paid £175 and would pay another £200 within 28 days
