PEOPLE in north Hartlepool can now cast a wider net in the search for jobs.
The Employment Action Centre, in Miers Avenue, offers Internet sessions so job-hunters can search the worldwide web for a job.
The centre can also help people who need to get behind the wheel, as it has a computer programme to help people get to grips with the driving theory test through a series of random questions and answers.
The centre, funded by the North Hartlepool Single Regeneration Budget Partnership and the European Social Fund, can provide a range of free support to job-seekers in the north Hartlepool and the Headland.
Marie Dunn, project coordinator, said: "We hope people will make the most of the new services which we have introduced. They could make a real difference to a person's future career."
Internet and driving theory test sessions must be booked. The centre is open from 8am to 4pm from Monday to Thursday, and 8am to noon on Fridays.
