CAR owners in the College and Park West areas of Darlington have suffered continued attacks on their vehicles.
The break-ins come as councillors prepare to meet residents and police to discuss ongoing problems.
Last week, The Northern Echo reported on thefts of and from vehicles, as well as vandalism, in West Powlett Street, Stanhope Road, Cleveland Avenue and Grange Road, which happened during daylight hours on Wednesday.
Police have received further reports that during the following night, the same area was again hit by thieves and vandals targeting cars.
Briefcases were stolen from inside vehicles, car radio cassette players and CD radios were taken in attacks in Vane Terrace, Harewood Hill and Grange Road, also spreading into Blackwell.
At Blackwell Grange Golf Club, a black Vauxhall Nova was stolen.
Councillors Jim Ruck and Heather Scott, who represent the Park West area on Darlington Borough Council, are expecting the issues to be raised during a ward surgery on Friday. A community police officer will also be on hand at the meeting, which will take place at Safeway supermarket, in Victoria Road, between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
Anybody who has any information is urged to contact Darlington police on (01325) 467681
