THE growth of a conservation project in Hartlepool will come under the spotlight at a talk next month.
Tony Davison, manager of the Summerhill project, will address a meeting in February to explain the progress so far, including landscaping work and the creation of the Boulders and Ropes climbing and adventure course.
He will also be outlining plans for the future including a trim trail with exercise apparatus and a programme of events for the spring and summer.
Mr Davison said: "Summerhill is certainly developing at a pace and there's always something exciting going on, with plenty on offer for all ages.
"The talk is a good opportunity for the many people who use Summerhill to come along and look back at the progress we have made so far and, more importantly still, find out about the exciting future plans we are working on with the Friends of Summerhill and the Summerhill Bird Club."
The event is free and will take place at Summerhill Visitor Centre on Wednesday, February 14, from 6.30pm until 8pm.
