RETAILERS at Harrison Developments prestigious Richmondshire Walk scheme are enjoying ever-increasing levels of trade.
Clothing retailer, Select, is the latest to join Tesco, McDonalds, Boots and other leading retailers at the development, leaving just one unit to let at the £15m Catterick Garrison site.
The anchor store at Richmondshire Walk, a 53,000 sq ft Tesco superstore, opened its doors in April last year, with Boots, Greggs, Travelworld, Peacocks, Global Video and Poundstretcher all opening in July.
The majority of those stores have seen a steady increase in trade in the last five months and are currently trading at or above budget.
Diane Searle, store manager at Peacocks, said: "Since we opened in July, sales have been fantastic. We're trading well above forecasted levels, and look forward to building on this success in 2001."
Richmondshire Walk was developed by Harrison in partnership with the Ministry of Defence, to bring much-needed modern shopping facilities to Catterick Garrison.
