WATCH OUT, cancer's about! That's the message of a leukaemia research campaign launched by TV's Jeremy Beadle in Newcastle yesterday.
The campaign hopes to target 32,000 schools in the UK to get behind the Mr Men and Little Miss Funds for Schools appeal that will help raise money towards research and treatment for children with leukaemia.
Mr Men and Little Miss milk cartons will ensure the message gets to school pupils.
The drive, which hopes to raise more than £800,000 to fund research in Newcastle, will encourage pupils to sponsor one of the popular children's characters running in this April's London Marathon.
Schools will keep half the money raised while the rest goes to the Children with Leukaemia charity.
Schools can obtain further details and application packs on 0800 7312098
