TOURISTS thinking about a trip to Yorkshire were offered an extra incentive by one of the county's most famous businesses.
Taylors of Harrogate supplied 1,000 packs of Yorkshire Tea to be given away by the region's tourist board at the Holiday and Travel Show at Manchester's G-Mex centre.
David Andrews, chief executive of the Yorkshire Tourist Board, said: "About one million overnight stays in Yorkshire are taken by people from the North-West every year.
"Despite what history says about the animosity between Yorkshire and Lancashire, Lancastrians love Yorkshire. They flock to us at the G-Mex every year for copies of our leaflets and guides."
