A MAN has been charged with murder following the discovery of a body on North-East farmland last month.
Robert Sutherland, 35, of Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland, is accused of murdering Mark Anthony Corley between July 7 and December 14.
Mr Corley, 22, went missing from his home in Grantham, Lincolnshire. His body was found with gunshot wounds in a field near Bolam, Darlington.
Mr Sutherland appeared before Grantham magistrates yesterday and was remanded in custody. He will appear at Lincoln Crown Court on January 25.
