A MULTIPLE sclerosis suffer has paid for a ladder for the disabled to be installed at Beaumont Hill Special School's swimming pool in Darlington.
Swimming teacher Jeff Mann was struggling to find the £1,500 for the ladder until David Wright agreed to pay for it after learning that a National Lottery grant bid had been refused.
Mr Mann said: "David hasn't got lots of money but he wanted to but the ladder because it benefits so many people."
