A VILLAGE has presented its first baby of the new millennium with a special award to mark the milestone.
Bailey Tate Swainson became Fishburn's millennium baby when he was born on January 5, 2000 at Bishop Auckland General Hospital.
The sixth child for Paul and Marion Swainson, of Oakdene Road, he was presented with a glass photo frame, engraved with his details, by the Fishburn Millennium Committee.
Bailey has three sisters, Laura, 16, Charlotte, 14, and Demi, five, and two brothers, Ian, 11, and Mitchell, two.
