A MAN was talked down from the roof of a three storey building after a three hour drama in Hartlepool.
Police were called to a house in Tankerville Street in Hartlepool at 9.30pm on Friday after reports of a domestic incident. When officers arrived at the address, a man, who has not been named by police, climbed through a bedroom window onto the roof of the three-storey terraced house.
Acting Sergeant Mark Haworth (corr) spoke to the man from a skylight but he refused to come down and continued to walk precariously along the roof.
After three hours he was persuaded to leave the roof and was carried down by a hydraulic lift provided by Cleveland fir brigade.
The man was arrested.
