TTE, one of the UK's leading training companies, has appointed brothers JIM and MICK LESTER to its management and technical training business.
The pair, who have pursued parallel careers which have taken them both into the armed services and the oil rigs, join the training staff at TTE's, Wilton International site. The brothers will deliver safety training and advise companies on how to introduce NVQs.
l Multi-disciplinary engineers WSP Group has supplemented its growing workforce at the Newcastle office by establishing a town planning consultancy. JOHN POTTS, a chartered town planner, has been appointed regional director, also covering offices in Manchester, Leeds, Wakefield and Edinburgh. SIMON USHER, also a chartered town planner, has been appointed senior consultant and is responsible for project management. He runs the planning services team of two graduate planners - ANTHONY HOLMES and DAVID BROCKLEHURST.
l AC Yule's expansion into the automatic door market has led to the appointment of a new operations manager at its Sunderland premises. JOHN GREEN will target housing associations and local authority markets.
l Engineering and construction company Caxios has strengthened its management team with the appointment of COLIN MCGURK as electrical and instrumentation manager at its Middlesbrough facility. He joins the company from Enron.
l CAROL WILBER is Bellway Homes latest recruit, joining the housebuilder as head of sales and marketing.
