A MEETING has been arrang-ed in Richmond this week which could prove the starting point for a raft of projects to be implemented over the next decade.
Communities across the region could qualify for Government cash to help pay for regeneration schemes - but those who appear the better prepared are more likely to be given priority.
As a result, the Richmond Partnership has confirmed that a briefing on the way ahead will be held at the Town Hall from 4.30pm on Thursday.
The organisation will have to develop a Community Investment Prospectus - a blueprint outlining Richmond's priorities and objectives for the next ten years - and it hopes people living in the area will want to contribute.
Town centre manager and Richmond Partnership member, Ken Wilson, said: "The Community Investment Pros-pectus will be a document that we can use to attract investment into the area.
