A MAN was talked down from the roof of a three-storey building after a three-hour drama.
Police were called to a house in Tankerville Street, Hartlepool, at 9.30pm on Friday after receiving reports of a domestic incident.
When officers arrived at the address, a man, who has not been named, climbed through a bedroom window on to the roof of the three-storey terraced house.
Acting Sergeant Mark Haworth spoke to the man from a skylight, but he refused to come down and continued to walk precariously along the roof.
After three hours, he was persuaded to leave the roof and was carried down by a hydraulic lift provided by Cleveland Fire Brigade.
The man was arrested
