DOG-lovers are being offered a foolproof way of getting their pets back if they stray.
The National Canine Defence League is taking its Give A Dog A Life roadshow to the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire next week.
The unit offers free micro-chipping to all dog owners who are on means-tested benefit or pension. To others the service will be available at the subsidised rate of £9.50.
The unit will be in Thirsk Market Place on January 29, Bedale Market Place on January 30, Stokesley High Street on January 31 and at the rear of Northallerton Town Hall on February 1.
