A MIDDLESBROUGH primary school is toasting the region's largest baker after the company donated bread to its breakfast club.
About 35 pupils at Archibald Primary School, in Ayresome Green Lane, are enjoying fresh toast each day, thanks to Warburtons.
The breakfast club, started last year by headteacher Pat Irving, provides food each morning for the pupils, including bread, cereal and fresh fruit.
Mrs Irving said: "Encouraging children to have a healthy breakfast is vital to their well-being and general concentration levels.
"We are delighted with the help from Warburtons because we work to a very tight budget and this contribution is much appreciated by the school."
